The Flame War

Tooth and Claw.

An Ominous shadow, with a chilling wind at her back, stood over the Navada ghost-town of “Eden.” Refugees on their way to better places were being used as slave labor by a group of local toughs to reinforce the town and turn it into a small desert fortress.

The shadow rode down and introduced herself as “Yukiko.” an exorcist who specializes in exorcising dead ghosts. She proved her ability to speak with dead bodies by extracting the name of a recently passed old man, and the terrible secret for which he had been killed. Incensed that his big secret was out, a man named Sue tried to bang-bang bring down his hammer upon her head, but was sliced open for his troubles. The gang’s leader and the bulk of the gang proper escaped into the desert before the slaves were set free. A few of the toughs tried to join up with Yukiko.

Overlooking the carnage, a young blondie wearing a mask over his no-doubt annoyingly handsome face jumped down from a nearby ledge and congratulated her on a job well done. He tried to make smalltalk with the stark stranger, but to little avail. The two parted their separate ways, each almost certain they’d meet again.

A Chance Meeting

Millions of dollars and the combined workforce of a globe-spanning network of agents and workers just so happened to arrange the chance meeting between Quinn Eco and a strange cult known as the “Godly Conflagration” situated somewhere in the American desert.

At first the words of the locals sounded like babble to the dazed warrior, who had just been awoken from an eons long nap in a small iceberg. After about a few hours of waiting, an expert in Nordic languages came in to translate the will of the cult. Telling him that he will be kept here for his own protection until “god” could come and meet him.

Shortly afterward the the demon Quinn had agreed to his infernal pact with showed up and began teaching him the globe-spanning universal language “Esperanto”. Teaching him the all important first lesson. “Tiu mondo ne apartenas al neniu.”

Before the Beginning

“Professor? Are you sure activating the Pseudogravatonic Harmonic Chronoton Particle Shuffling Quantum Tunneling Phase-Inhibition Pulse Projector Array during a lightening storm is a great idea?” “Of course it is! What could go wrong?”

The course of history has been changed. Some say for the better, others say for the worse, but all of those people are not recognized as extant by the United Republic of America.

The most immediately noticeable changes are that the Damn Nazis are still around and Guns are now outlaws in most of the world.

The Geography of the world post WWII is vastly different. Most of Europe was trampled over by the boot-heels of Damn Nazis, Japan spans through most of northern China, Korea, Taiwan, and The Philippines. Most of Africa, The Middle East, and India has been taken over by a sudden and completely unexpected radical movement known as “la Fero Martelo”. Most of Canada and The U.S.A. were reformed into the United Republic of America after the fall of Great Britain. New York and Texas has seceded and formed The Lone Star Republic and The Empire State. Most of the west half of the U.S.R. is considered too chaotic and lawless to settle or develop in, but is still claimed by the U.S.R. government. Mongolia has undergone a regime change and is now an expansionist state. Russia, Australia, and most of the middle east are all locked in an ever-shifting land war between the major powers and the current residents. As the world is so prone to war and tyranny, large cities have been cropping up over undesirable spans of lands such at the poles and various deserts. These places are described as “Uncomfortable, but safe.”

Welcome to your Adventure Log!
A blog for your campaign

Every campaign gets an Adventure Log, a blog for your adventures!

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.
